You’re going down a nostalgic path of remembering the past through slower and reverb music of the simple times back then. It’s sad we can never go back sure, but be grateful to have ever lived it and know damn well you can and will create more. The hardest part? I guess I should elaborate with a long ass explanation that might immediately invalidate a bunch of these comments real quick: I never meant this out of any degree of malice or criticism, I mostly meant it just as a playful quip. I understand that a lot is lost in translation when it's not immediately spoken, and a lot of that falls on me for not being subtler with my wording. But fr fr I like this mix a lot and I revisit it often, so don't think I'm saying this mix shouldn't exist or anything-- it should, and I'm glad it does.

Moonlight Pacific you know I’m an sophomore and it will get harder. I barely have any friends, I know a lot of people tho. I just don’t make friends that much. It’s really hard living in a Society full of hate. I recommend you to get your best friend, you’ll need him/her thru high school. I have one good friend that I’ve known since 4th grade and we are in the same sophomore year. If it wasn’t for him, I would of lost it. Because of him I’m not lonely. this is just a slowed down version of the original song. Calling it "Vaporwave" or any other genre indicates that there is some sort of artistic interpretation involved in creating/remixing this, not just speeding it up

Agreed, most of them slow down the song, add reverb, and maybe some static effects. There isn't too much added. However, I admire how Vaporwave secretly satirizes traditional Pop Music and Pop Culture as a whole, sampling something and lazily calling it something new. Maybe that was the intent, or maybe the creator is just lazy.
